Patient and Kind

If there’s one thing that I’ve been praying for myself as a parent this year, it’s that God will help me to be patient and kind with my kids. The days can be long and frustrating sometimes, but I really want to enjoy this time that I get to spend with my young children, and it starts with me being patient and kind. Asher is a month old and is probably getting ready to head off to college soon. Why can’t my babies stay little forever???

It’s been a pretty good month. We’re getting used to being outnumbered by the kids, and Asher’s getting used to life outside the womb. I’m not sure yet what kind of personality he’s going to have, but he’s very peaceful…when he’s sleeping. [Read more…] about Asher: month 1

Our sweet Asher Christian joined us two weeks ago, and we’ve loved being able to introduce him to family and friends. You guys have shown us so much love each time we’ve had a new baby, and this time is no exception. We’re thankful for all the meals, congratulations, and prayers.
