You guys, parenting is hard. There’s missed naps, fussy attitudes, and big messes to clean up–and sometimes the kids have problems too. Really, though, despite the challenges and frustrations, having kids is the best. Cleaning up throw up for the 17 millionth time in 3 days is not the best. That’s the worst. Mercy is 8 months old! I feel like this is the point of having a baby where I think, “Oh, babies are so easy! She practically takes care of herself!” and I forget that just a few short months ago, I would have traded a kidney or the entire contents of our bank account in exchange for more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep.
