As of last week, Erica and I have been married for 7 years. It’s been a fun 7 years and it’s pretty crazy to think it’s been that long already. We celebrated our 7 years a little early with a date night the weekend before.
Erica planned the night and it was a lot of fun! We went out for dinner at The Blistered Pig and then saw a movie (Zootopia), plus made a quick stop to look for new baby gates. We had to adult a little. She also had a special song she played when we first left. It actually mentions 7 years! Check it out below.
Speaking of babies, with baby number 2 on the way, I get a lot of people who ask, “do you know what you guys are having yet?” I like to answer that question with, “a human baby.” After all, it’s really the answer to the question.
With Elias, I thought it would be fun to not find out the gender, but we decided to go ahead and find out. With baby number 2, we also decided to find out. So, another way to answer that question would be, “yes, we do know what we are having.”
Anyway, I think Erica and I would both highly recommend The Blistered Pig. They have some delicious food! Zootopia was good too. Go watch it!
Are you wondering why I haven’t told you the gender yet? Part of me likes prolonging the anticipation while you wait. Although, in this instance, a lot of you already know. We haven’t been keeping it much of a secret. We just haven’t made an official announcement I guess.
But, that’s what this post is for. Well, this post is also to tell you that Erica and I have been married for 7 years. 7 years!!!
Okay, okay… I’ll tell you. Baby number 2 is a girl!
She is also human.
