We’ve made it through 2 months with 3 kids! And I’ve only noticed 432948295728 more white hairs!
Really though, I’m thankful for this time I get to spend with my kids. Of course, there are days when I think I may lose my mind if I have to tell someone one more time to put on their shoes (“Your shoes. The ones on the floor, where you left them. By the stairs. No, downstairs. Get both of them. Two that match. That’s a slipper. Fine, wear your slippers.”)
But there are also a lot of other days when I feel so tender towards these munchkins that I think I may burst. They can be achingly sweet, and they love me and Derek so completely. I think kids are just wired to love their Mama and Daddy, and I’m so glad!
I feel like Asher is such an easy-going baby. Derek might disagree since the hours between dinner and bedtime are difficult, and those are the main hours Derek is spending with our kids during the week. Buuut for the most part, I feel like Asher is pretty agreeable and easy, in true third child form.
Eating: Yes. Asher likes to eat. He nurses great and usually has a bottle every day or every other day. We want to keep him taking a bottle pretty easily because I might have slight PTSD from trying to give a stubborn Eli a bottle.
Sleeping: We haven’t gotten into a good napping schedule yet because our days change up so much between preschool days and other activities, but almost always takes a short nap in the swing in the morning and a long nap in his crib in the afternoon. He takes a couple smaller naps in between in the carrier, car, stroller, corner (just kidding!), etc.
