Our sweet Mercy is a year and a half old. Asher was actually born on November 28, so they’re exactly 18 months apart.
Mercy is so much fun. We’ve really been enjoying the last few months with both kids. Mercy is very affectionate and kind. She loves to talk and will quickly let us know how she feels about things.
Also, she has teeth now! She still didn’t have any in her last update at 12 months, but her first tooth poked through around 14 months.
AND she’s walking. Mercy had a late start with the walking, but just took off at 16 months. Now it’s like she’s been doing it all along.
So, some updates:
Eating: M is a good eater. She has finally slowed down a little bit, but the girl can still put some food away. She’s not very picky at all. She’s not the biggest fan of bread crust, but everything else is fair game. She uses a fork and spoon really well, which she apparently just figured out by herself because we never really taught her.
Sleeping: Mercy sleeps at night from about 8 pm-7 am. She dropped her morning nap around 12 months and will nap in the afternoon for 1.5-2 hours.
Other developments: Mercy is a busy girl. She loves playing and taking care of her stuffed animals. She loves to sing and dance and listen to music. She counts to 10 (somewhat correctly) and has started to put together small sentences.
Weight: 24ish lbs. She’ll have her 18 month checkup this week.
Dislikes: bread crust, having her hair washed, Eli taking her toys
Likes: music, eating, hugs, giving her animals “checkups,” helping Mama and Daddy, the new baby
Mercy is the sweetest little girl and we’re enjoying watching her grow up!
